Every project we undertake begins with a face-to-face meeting. (In terms of collaborative relationship building, this step is essential.)

During our initial meeting we’ll talk as little as possible about ourselves. Instead, we’ll listen to you. We’ll absorb as much as we can about your organization’s culture, personality, ambitions, needs, strengths and weaknesses.

In an effort to dig even deeper, we’ll then send a simple questionnaire for your team to fill out.

Finally, if need be, we’ll listen to your customers. We’ll ask them how they feel about your organization, your personnel or services and we’ll talk to you about it.

Description

After listening to you about your brand, it’s time to process what we’ve heard.

Once we’ve digested all of this info, our findings are distilled into a comprehensive BrandBrief™. This key document contains insights, observations and communications opportunities for your organization.

BrandBrief™ in hand, the Hagon team now engages in the most critical stage of the process—thinking. How do we solve your challenges? How can we help maximize your opportunities? What can we do to ensure your messages are received? Every facets of your challenged is examined.

Note: The “Thinking” part of the process, wherein we make critical decisions before executing visual solutions, separates us from typical studios that fast track projects to the design phase.

After the Thinking stage, we begin to move forward with creative development.

Depending on your requirements, a team will be assembled to design prototype options for your communications. This team will typically be comprised of at least two designers, a creative director and if need dictates, a copywriter.

Once a number of creative options have been explored, the Hagon team conducts an internal review and selects the best 3 or 4 concepts for presentation.

Finally, the 3 – 4 selected options are refined, tweaked and edited for presentation.

Conference calls and pdfs are great, but we believe in the power of face-to-face meetings. When our concepts are ready, we’ll set up an appointment with you to present our design prototypes for feedback.
Working with you, we will then select the best possible communications concept for your unique challenges.
As part of our discussion, we’ll establish any refinements you might need before final execution and deployment—printing, publishing, programming, etc.

Once everything has been thought out, discussed, conceptualized and designed, it’s time to put our plan into practice. At this stage we break out your new communications campaign or brand across whichever medium makes sense – Print, Web, Out of Home, Video, etc.

Depending on the executional requirements, our full staff now gets to work to bring your project to life — designers, producers, programmers, animators, writers and our network of best-in class-vendors.

The final stage of any Hagon project is one of the most important for developing the types of long term client/studio relationships we value—Listen (again).

Your project is launched in market. Now it’s time to get together and discuss the fine points of how the campaign is working. Are consumers responding? How is the brand being received? What steps can we take to move forward?

The Listening phase also presents an opportune time to conduct some market research to determine how consumers are reacting to your campaign.
