I really love working with Ben. His work is thoughtful, playful, original, and practical. The book we just worked on seems to make a lot of people happy. The artist loves it, the publisher loves it, and it does what it's supposed to do: it's a guidebook and an artist's monograph at the same time, and somehow it's both idiomatic and doesn't look like anything else out there. How do you pull that off? Plus, he has a charming accent.
